Astana Ranks Top 40 in Asia in Oxford Economics 2025 Index

Astana ranked 36th in Asia and 276th globally in the Oxford Economics Global Cities Index 2025, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said, highlighting strong economic growth and potential for further advancement.

The study assessed 1,000 cities across economy, human capital, quality of life, environment, and governance, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Tokayev emphasized that the capital should serve as a model for other regions, noting steadily growing economic activity and calling for continued progress.
