Tokayev Sends Birthday Greetings to Azerbaijani Leader

During a phone call Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has warmly congratulated Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on his birthday.

President Tokayev wished President Aliyev continued success in serving the Azerbaijani people, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Tokayev highlighted Aliyev’s key role in strengthening statehood, boosting economic growth, and enhancing Azerbaijan’s global standing.

The leaders praised the dynamic development of the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan relations and discussed prospects for deepening their strategic partnership, including expanded cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. They emphasized the full implementation of high-level agreements, including those reached during President Aliyev’s state visit to Kazakhstan on October 20-21.

The presidents also exchanged views on ongoing regional and international issues, underlining the importance of continued dialogue to strengthen bilateral ties and strategic collaboration.
