Rail travel across the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is set to become easier.
Under new recommendations approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission, member states will reduce the number of inspections and streamline procedures for passengers, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Plans also include unified electronic tickets, plus online registration and payment systems to improve convenience for travelers.
The EAEU brings together Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia, forming one of the region’s major integrated transport zones.
