Kazakh Leader Congratulates To Lam on Vietnam Party Reelection

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a congratulatory message to To Lam following his reelection as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In the telegram, Tokayev praised To Lam’s continued leadership and wished him success in carrying out initiatives aimed at the country’s progressive development and long-term stability, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Earlier, Vietnam’s Communist Party confirmed that To Lam was unanimously reappointed as general secretary for another five-year term. According to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the party leader secured all 180 votes, extending his mandate at the top of Vietnam’s political leadership.
