Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit India and the Republic of Korea from September 12 to 16, where he will take part in the 18th BRICS Summit and the inaugural Central Asia-Republic of Korea Summit.

Tokayev will make a working visit to India on September 12-13 at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the BRICS Summit, according to Qazinform.

During his stay in New Delhi, the Kazakh president will address the plenary session in the “outreach/BRICS+” format, titled “Strengthening resilience, innovation, cooperation and stability.”

Tokayev is also scheduled to hold talks with Modi and meet with several other heads of state and government.

From September 14-16, Tokayev will make a state visit to South Korea at the invitation of President Lee Jae Myung.

High-level talks are scheduled in Seoul on September 15, with discussions expected to focus on further strengthening the expanded strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and South Korea.

The Kazakh president will also meet with executives of leading South Korean companies to discuss potential areas of economic and investment cooperation.

On September 16, Tokayev will attend the inaugural Central Asia-Republic of Korea Summit, bringing together the leaders of Central Asian countries and South Korea.
