Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has joined a restricted-attendance session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's (CSTO) Collective Security Council in Bishkek.
The meeting brought together Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon for high-level discussions on key issues of regional and international security, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
Tokayev arrived earlier at the Yntymak Ordo Residence to take part in the summit, which follows an informal gathering of CSTO leaders at the Ala Archa State Residence the previous day.
The talks in Bishkek are expected to shape the organization’s priorities amid evolving geopolitical challenges across the region.
