Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has expressed confidence that the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin will further strengthen the organization's role as a stabilizing force amid growing global uncertainty.

The president highlighted the close diplomatic collaboration between Kazakhstan and China within the SCO, The Caspian Post reports via China Daily.

“The SCO has become a cornerstone of multilateral cooperation in Eurasia, fostering stability, economic growth, and cultural exchange,” the article states. “As founding members, Kazakhstan and China have worked together to unlock the SCO’s potential across its comprehensive regional prosperity agenda.”

President Tokayev praised China’s current leadership of the SCO, noting that it has intensified efforts to enhance regional security, promote economic integration, and broaden cultural and humanitarian engagement. “The upcoming landmark SCO Summit in Tianjin will shape the Organization’s future trajectory.
