Kazakh Ministry Details Death of Serviceman

The Kazakh Interior Ministry has provided an official statement regarding the death of a serviceman from military unit 6506.

The serviceman joined the unit on December 9, 2025, and sought medical help for the first time on December 17, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

From that point, he received all necessary medical care, including tests and examinations, and was under continuous observation by medical specialists.

On December 29, due to a deterioration in his health, he was hospitalized in a medical facility in Shymkent. Despite all medical interventions, the serviceman suffered cardiac arrest on January 6, 2026. The preliminary diagnosis was acute leukemia.

A criminal case has been opened, with the investigation overseen by the military prosecutor’s office. The National Guard is providing support to the family.
