Kazakh President Honors UAE Defence Minister with Prestigious Dostyq Order

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has awarded the Dostyq (Friendship) Order, II Degree, to Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs, in recognition of his significant contributions to strengthening and advancing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.

The honor was presented following a meeting between President Tokayev and the visiting UAE defense minister, underscoring the growing strategic partnership between the two nations, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates have developed strong and multifaceted diplomatic relations since establishing formal ties in 1992. Both countries collaborate extensively across various sectors including trade, investment, energy, defense, and technology. The UAE is one of Kazakhstan’s key economic partners in the Gulf region, with growing cooperation in infrastructure projects and financial services.
