Kazakh President Joins Trump Peace Council Initiative

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed the Charter of the Board of Peace, an international initiative launched by US President Donald Trump.

The signing ceremony brought together leaders and representatives of 18 countries, underscoring broad international support for the newly established peace framework, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Earlier, President Tokayev was invited by President Trump to attend the ceremony during a working visit to Davos, where the charter of the Gaza Board of Peace was formally endorsed.

Kazakhstan received an official invitation to join the initiative as one of its founding member states. Confirming the invitation, Presidential Assistant and Press Secretary Ruslan Zheldibay said President Tokayev was among the first world leaders invited to participate in the Board of Peace.

In response, the Kazakh head of state sent a letter to President Trump expressing gratitude and confirming Kazakhstan’s decision to join the initiative. President Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to contributing to lasting peace in the Middle East, strengthening interstate trust, and promoting global stability through constructive international cooperation.
