Kazakh President Makes Over 20 Foreign Trips in 2025

In 2025, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev traveled extensively, spending 252 hours in the air and covering 168,960 kilometers on 23 foreign trips across Europe, Asia, and the US.

The president conducted two state visits to Russia and Uzbekistan, five official visits to China, Jordan, Türkiye, Kyrgyzstan, and Japan, and 16 working visits including trips to the US, Turkmenistan, UAE, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Kazakhstan also reinforced its role as a platform for international dialogue, hosting foreign leaders from over 25 countries, including China, Italy, Georgia, Vietnam, UAE, Rwanda, and Iran.

These diplomatic efforts resulted in commercial agreements exceeding $70 billion. President Tokayev held 186 high-level meetings, conducted 43 calls with world leaders, and received credentials from 30 ambassadors during four official ceremonies.

Domestically, he visited nine regions and more than 50 industrial, scientific, and socio-cultural facilities, highlighting Kazakhstan’s ongoing development and international engagement.
