Kazakhstan Boosts Agro-Industrial Sector Under President Tokayev’s Initiatives

Kazakhstan is steadily advancing its agro-industrial complex as part of the implementation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s Address “Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism” and other state initiatives.

Official data indicate that the sector continues to demonstrate stable growth, highlighting the effectiveness of government support measures and ongoing efforts to implement the president’s priorities, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

From January to July 2025, Kazakhstan’s gross agricultural output increased by 3.7 per cent, reaching 2.4 trillion tenge ($4.444 billion), driven primarily by growth in cattle breeding and crop cultivation.

The processing sector outperformed expectations, with food production rising 9.2 per cent to 2.13 trillion tenge ($3.944 billion).

Investment in agriculture also showed strong momentum: capital investments rose 26.5 per cent to 442.7 billion tenge ($819.868 million), with 104.2 billion tenge ($192.971 million) directed toward food production, representing a 48 per cent increase over the same period.
