Kazakhstan, ExxonMobil Boost Strategic Oil and Gas Partnership

Kazakhstan is deepening its energy partnership with ExxonMobil as both sides explore new opportunities in the country’s oil and gas sector.

First Deputy Prime Minister Nurlan Baibazarov met with Yuri Kim to discuss ongoing joint projects and future cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

The talks focused on expanding hydrocarbon production, developing export infrastructure, and advancing major investment projects. Particular attention was given to the continued development of the giant Tengiz oil field and Kashagan oil field fields, as well as ensuring the stable operation of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

Kazakhstan also highlighted efforts to improve the investment climate by creating more predictable and investor-friendly conditions aimed at supporting long-term cooperation with international energy companies.

During the meeting, ExxonMobil expressed confidence in strengthening ties with Kazakhstan, while both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding strategic cooperation and supporting the sustainable growth of the country’s oil and gas industry.
