Kazakhstan Proposes Platform to Track Disinfo in Turkic States

Kazakhstan has suggested creating a joint expert platform to monitor disinformation across Turkic countries.

The proposal was made by Kanat Iskakov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, at the Turkic States Forum on Combating Disinformation in Ankara, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Iskakov emphasized the need for practical measures to strengthen collective capabilities in countering disinformation. He proposed regular research on network-analytical countermeasures and highlighted the importance of training new specialists. Initiatives could include fact-checking support, strategic communications training, and the use of advanced big data analytics technologies.
