Government officials from Turkmenistan are taking part in a three-day seminar on digitalization in Astana, being held from August 25 to 27 at Astana Hub.
The event is organized jointly by Kazakhstan's Agency of International Development (KazAID) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.
The program brings together specialists from five Central Asian countries and forms part of the “Dostyk - Digitalization” initiative, launched in 2024. The seminar focuses on sharing best practices in the digital transformation of national governance systems.
Sessions cover key topics including artificial intelligence, e-government innovations, and open data management. Kazakh experts shared their experience as a regional leader in digital governance, while South Korean specialists presented innovative solutions and achievements in e-government.
The participation of Turkmen officials is considered a significant step toward the modernization of Turkmenistan’s digital economy. The knowledge and skills acquired are expected to enhance public administration efficiency and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
