Kazakhstan, Scandinavia Explore Fresh Opportunities for Green Growth

Kazakhstan is stepping up efforts to strengthen ties between Central Asia and the Nordic region, with a new focus on sustainable business, investment, and regional development.

During a meeting in Finland, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Finland, Azamat Abdraimov, held talks with Ilkka Räisänen, Secretary General of the Scandinavian and Central Asian Sustainable Business Association (SCABA), The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

The discussions centered on expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the countries of Northern Europe.

The Kazakh diplomat outlined the country's ongoing economic reforms, initiatives to improve the investment climate, and key priorities in sustainable development. Special attention was given to Kazakhstan’s growing role as a regional hub for implementing joint projects across Central Asia.

Both sides expressed interest in deepening cooperation and maintaining an active dialogue aimed at creating new opportunities for businesses and investors in both regions.

SCABA is a business-focused organization dedicated to strengthening commercial ties between Central Asian and Scandinavian countries, promoting sustainable growth and cross-border partnerships.
