Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Bakayev has joined Doha Forum 2025 in Qatar, engaging with over 5,000 participants from 162 countries to discuss justice, multilateral cooperation, and global challenges.
On the sidelines, Bakayev took part in a special Astana International Forum session on middle powers’ role in diplomacy, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
He also held bilateral talks with Qatar’s Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Ahmed Al Hammadi and Spain’s State Secretary Diego Martínez Belío, reviewing political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation.
Bakayev’s meetings highlighted positive dynamics in Kazakhstan-Qatar and Kazakhstan-Spain relations, with both sides reaffirming commitment to strategic partnerships and high-level agreements. Informal exchanges emphasized Kazakhstan’s active role in global stability, multi-vector diplomacy, and addressing contemporary international challenges.
