Kazakhstan's KazTransOil and Russia’s Transneft have signed an agreement for the transit transportation of Kazakh oil through Russian territory in 2026.
The deal, finalized during a joint delegation meeting, ensures the export of Kazakh oil via Russia to the ports of Novorossiysk and Ust-Luga, as well as to the Russian-Belarusian border for further shipment to EU member states, The Caspian Post reports via KazTransOil.
The cooperation also covers the transit of Russian oil across Kazakhstan.
The agreement strengthens bilateral energy collaboration and secures reliable routes for oil exports among Kazakhstan, Russia, and Europe.
