Montenegro's President Jakov Milatović is set to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan from June 18 to 20 at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, signaling growing ties between the two countries.
The highlight of the visit will be high-level talks scheduled for June 19, where the two presidents are expected to discuss a broad range of bilateral issues, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.
The leaders will focus on strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, attracting new investment, and deepening cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The visit comes as relations between Kazakhstan and Montenegro continue to gain momentum. Earlier this year, Montenegro introduced a temporary visa-free regime for Kazakh citizens, a move expected to boost tourism, business travel, and people-to-people contacts.
Analysts view the visit as an opportunity to unlock new areas of cooperation and strengthen Kazakhstan’s partnerships in Southeast Europe while expanding Montenegro’s engagement with Central Asia.
