Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in Astana as part of an official visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic engagement between Russia and Kazakhstan.
The visit marks another step in ongoing high-level contacts between the two neighboring states, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.
During the trip, Lavrov is expected to be received by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, underscoring the political importance of the visit.
In addition to the presidential meeting, discussions are also scheduled with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev.
The talks are expected to focus on bilateral cooperation and coordination across key areas of mutual interest, continuing the steady diplomatic dialogue between Moscow and Astana.
