Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei and Chairman of the Department of Health of Abu Dhabi and CEO of G42 International Mansoor Al Mansoori.
Tokayev highlighted the special nature of relations between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, which are based on strong ties of friendship, mutual trust and strategic partnership, The Caspian Post reports, citing Akorda.
He noted that the UAE is among Kazakhstan’s top 10 foreign investors. In 2025, UAE foreign direct investment in Kazakhstan reached $1.64 billion, increasing 3.5-fold.
During the meeting, Tokayev conveyed warm greetings to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Particular attention was paid to transport and logistics cooperation. The participants discussed joint projects with AD Ports Group, the development of port infrastructure and the maritime fleet in the Caspian Sea, and further strengthening of the Middle Corridor.
The sides also discussed the prospects for developing the Trans-Afghan Corridor and establishing long-term partnerships in maritime, rail, road and air transportation.
Artificial intelligence and digitalization were another key area of discussion. Tokayev highly valued cooperation with Presight AI on projects involving the development of supercomputing infrastructure, Smart City solutions and a national traffic video monitoring system.
The interlocutors also considered opportunities for G42 to participate in developing the large-scale Data Center Valley ecosystem in Ekibastuz.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Tokayev presented Suhail Al Mazrouei and Mansoor Al Mansoori with the Order of Dostyk of II Degree in recognition of their contribution to the development of Kazakh-UAE relations.
