Turkmen Talent Tops Traditional Games Art Competition in Kazakhstan

Young artists from Turkmenistan claimed top honors at the Young Artists Competition on Traditional Children’s Games held in Kazakhstan’s Aktau, which has been designated the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2025.

Over 40 finalists were selected from 2,000 participants representing Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye, The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.

The grand prize went to Bibinamat Ashirova, while Aysel Semenderova and Vepa Geldymuhammedov received second and third prizes, respectively.

The ceremony was attended by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, who stressed the role of art in promoting cultural exchange and strengthening ties across the Turkic world. Winners received diplomas and gifts from TURKSOY and the Aktau city administration.
