The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in aircraft accident and incident investigations.
The agreement was signed during the Dubai Airshow 2025, with GCAA Director-General Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi representing the UAE and Kazakhstan’s Vice-Minister of Transport Talgat Lastaev signing on behalf of his country. Senior officials, including Captain Aysha Mohammed Al Hamili, attended the ceremony, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
Under the new partnership, the two countries will expand collaboration through mutual technical assistance, expert exchanges, observer participation in investigations, joint training, and information sharing - all in line with their national laws and aviation safety standards.
The move comes as Kazakhstan intensifies efforts to modernize its aviation sector.
