US Experts Applaud Kazakhstan’s Leadership and Central Role

US experts have extended congratulations to Kazakhstan on its 34th Independence Day, highlighting the country’s growth, leadership, and strategic role in Central Asia.

Daniel Witt, President of the International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC), praised Kazakhstan’s development over the past 34 years, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

“I’ve been visiting Kazakhstan for 33 years. It has been a great pleasure to watch the country grow, mature, and deliver for its people,” he said, noting the importance of strong leadership and a commitment to openness for business.

Witt also referred to the meeting between President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and US President Donald Trump on November 5 as a “renaissance in Kazakhstan-US relations.” He emphasized Kazakhstan’s central role in Central Asia’s economic and geopolitical landscape, describing the country as the biggest in the region in terms of growth, trade flows, and the East-West Corridor.

Andrew Kuchins, senior fellow at the Center for the National Interest, also congratulated Kazakhstan, calling the current period “very exciting” for US-Central Asia relations. He highlighted the success of the C5+1 meeting on November 5 and praised the bilateral trade and economic agreements between Kazakhstan and the United States.

Both experts stressed a bright future for Kazakhstan-US cooperation and the country’s pivotal role in the region.
