Vietjet Launches Hanoi–Almaty–Prague Route With Twice-Weekly Flights

Kazakhstan's Almaty International Airport has welcomed the first flight operated by Vietnamese airline Vietjet on the Hanoi-Almaty-Prague route.

The aircraft received a traditional water-cannon salute upon arrival at the Kazakh airport, marking the launch of the new route, according to Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The service operates under the Fifth Freedom of the Air framework, which allows an airline to carry passengers between two foreign countries as part of an international flight that originates or terminates in a third country.

Vietjet will operate flights on the Hanoi-Almaty-Prague route twice a week, expanding air connectivity between Vietnam, Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic.
