Belarus and Kyrgyzstan Step Up Cooperation in ICT and AI

Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are intensifying bilateral dialogue in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), marking a new phase in digital cooperation between the two countries.

The issue was discussed during a meeting between Belarusian Minister of Communications and Informatization Kirill Zalessky and Kyrgyz Ambassador to Belarus Erbol Sultanbayev, The Caspian Post reports via Belarusian media.

Talks focused on expanding collaboration in ICT, boosting the use of artificial intelligence technologies, and strengthening cooperation in the postal sector. The sides also exchanged views on their experience in developing electronic government services, including Belarus’ unified e-services portal “E-Pasluga” and Kyrgyzstan’s state portal “Tunduk.”

Special attention was given to the implementation of the interdepartmental memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation in digital development, signed in Minsk on September 29, 2025.

The ministry noted that the parties agreed to intensify dialogue in these areas and outlined specific mechanisms for cooperation, including organizing business missions and expanding the legal framework to support digital transformation initiatives.
