Caucasus Muslims Office Chairman to Attend Religious Council Gathering in Kyrgyzstan

Chairman of Azerbaijan's Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade will visit Kyrgyzstan to participate in the Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), set to take place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on September 11.

The upcoming gathering marks the Council’s sixth session, following earlier meetings in Istanbul, Baku, Shusha, Turkistan, Tashkent, and Astana, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Religious leaders are expected to discuss pressing issues facing the Muslim world, with the session anticipated to adopt a key document titled “Unity of the Ummah in Islam.”

According to the organizers, the next session of the Council will be held in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku.
