Early Morning Tremor Hits Southern Kyrgyzstan

A moderate earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck southern Kyrgyzstan early in the morning.

The tremor hit at 05:28 a.m. (GMT+6). The epicenter was located just 3 km southwest of Uzgen and about 45 km northeast of Osh, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

Officials confirmed that there were no casualties or destruction following the quake.
