The sixth meeting of the Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission in Baku has focused on enhancing trade and economic cooperation.
The discussions focused on boosting trade, diversifying bilateral economic ties, and strengthening transport and logistics links, including the development of multimodal routes for faster and more efficient freight between Central Asia, the Caucasus, and beyond, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
In the humanitarian sphere, both sides agreed to expand academic exchanges, joint cultural programs, youth initiatives, and tourism projects, while highlighting the importance of friendship parks and memorial sites that reflect shared historical and spiritual values.
The meeting concluded with the co-chairs signing the minutes of the 6th session, reinforcing the ongoing strategic partnership between the two nations.
