The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has allocated 60 million soms ($686,106) from the state budget to launch a program aimed at improving cattle quality.
As part of the initiative, farmers will receive breeding material for artificial insemination free of charge, sourced from elite and elite-record bulls of Aberdeen Angus, Simmental, Swiss, and Holstein breeds, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The program is intended to enhance the genetic potential of herds and increase overall livestock productivity.
