Kyrgyz Government Names New Parliament Envoy

Almasbek Abytov has been relieved of his post as the plenipotentiary representative of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyrgyzstan’s parliament, the Jogorku Kenesh.

The official stepped down at his own request. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

Abytov had served as the permanent representative of the President and Cabinet in parliament since 2021, acting as a key liaison between the executive branch and lawmakers.

In a separate decree, Kasymaliev appointed Bektur Zulpiev as the new plenipotentiary representative. Prior to this role, Zulpiev served as an adviser to the president.
