President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has arrived in Egypt for an official visit.
His plane landed at Cairo International Airport, where he was welcomed by Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Ayman Ashour and other officials, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
During the visit, high-level talks are scheduled between Japarov and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, covering key bilateral issues as well as discussions on the regional and international agenda.
The visit is expected to result in the signing of several agreements across economy, agriculture, investment, energy, and healthcare, setting the stage for closer Kyrgyzstan-Egypt cooperation.
