During his state visit to Pakistan, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has toured the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) in Islamabad, exploring innovations in aviation, space, IT, and cybersecurity.
At the NASTP Alpha exposition, President Japarov examined radar systems, communication tech, simulators, AI developments, and space technologies, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
He paid particular attention to the JF-17 Thunder multirole fighter jet, jointly developed by China and Pakistan, inspecting its cockpit and learning about its combat systems, maneuverability, and weaponry.
The president also reviewed the PAC MFI-17 Mushshak light training aircraft and a helicopter simulator designed to model emergency scenarios and diverse weather conditions.
Praising the advanced technologies on display, President Japarov emphasized Kyrgyzstan’s readiness to expand cooperation with Pakistan in innovation and high-tech development.
