The seventh Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum is scheduled to take place at the scenic Issyk-Kul region from August 13 to 15, 2025.
The Kyrgyz-Russian Forum of Representatives (KRFR) noted that the event will serve as a crucial platform for dialogue on priority areas of bilateral cooperation, including digitalization, finance, logistics, and other strategic sectors vital for both economies, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
A highlight of the forum will be an offsite session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), featuring participation from delegations representing various Russian regions. The event is expected to culminate in the signing of multiple contracts, underscoring the growing business ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
“This forum presents a unique opportunity to access the insights and strategic conclusions of one of the world’s foremost economic gatherings. This partnership not only raises the profile of the forum itself but also injects substantial momentum toward integrating Kyrgyz business into the wider Eurasian and global economic frameworks,” the Kyrgyz-Russian Forum of Representatives said in an official statement.
