Kyrgyz Troops Join CSTO “Interaction-2025” Drills in Belarus

Kyrgyz military personnel have been deployed to Belarus to take part in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) joint exercises “Interaction-2025”.

Participants-including the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces and the special exercises “Search-2025” and “Echelon-2025”-are scheduled to complete their regrouping in Belarus by August 29, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

Troop contingents from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan are moving to the designated exercise areas as planned.

The exercises will run from August 31 to September 6 at the Losvido and Lepelsky training grounds, combining the training of various components of the CSTO collective forces.

Key objectives of the exercises include:

“Interaction-2025”: practicing the planning and execution of joint operations to respond to crises in CSTO member states;

“Search-2025”: enhancing intelligence operations in support of the CSTO Rapid Reaction Forces;

“Echelon-2025”: refining the organization of logistical and material support.

A distinctive aspect of the 2025 exercises is their close alignment with the joint strategic exercises of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia, “Zapad-2025”, aimed at ensuring interoperability and strategic coordination.
