Military contingents from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have arrived in Belarus to take part in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) joint exercises, according to the Belarusian Defense Ministry's press service, The Caspian Post reports citing BelTA.
Exercises integrating the training of various components of the CSTO troops (collective forces) will be held at the Losvido and Lepelsky training grounds in Belarus from 31 August to 6 September. The joint exercise with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF), Interaction 2025, is aimed at practicing the preparation and conduct of a joint operation to participate in resolving a crisis situation on the territory of a CSTO member state. Reconnaissance in the interests of the CSTO CRRF will be practiced during the special exercise Search 2025. The special exercise Echelon 2025 involves working on issues of organizing material and technical support.
