Kyrgyzstan has opened a new manufacturing plant, Skat Pro, through a joint industrial venture with Russia’s Tatarstan, marking a step toward strengthening the country’s energy sector and expanding domestic production.
The facility manufactures equipment for energy and infrastructure projects, using modern automated technologies designed to improve production efficiency and product quality, according to Kabar.
The opening ceremony was attended by Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, who described the launch as an important milestone in the country’s economic development.
“Moving from the trade of finished goods to the creation of joint production facilities is an important step in the development of Kyrgyzstan's economy,” Sariev said.
The new plant is expected to deepen industrial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan, facilitate technology transfer and support the development of domestic manufacturing capabilities.
