Foreign direct investment (FDI) from Kyrgyzstan into Azerbaijan saw a remarkable surge in the first half of 2025, reaching $7.706 million.
This figure represents a dramatic 78-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024, when Kyrgyzstan’s FDI amounted to just $99,000, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
Despite this sharp growth, Kyrgyzstan’s investments made up only 0.2 per cent of the total foreign direct investment flowing into Azerbaijan during the first six months of 2025.
Overall, Azerbaijan attracted over $3.222 billion in foreign direct investment during this period, highlighting continued strong interest from global investors in the country’s economy.
