Kyrgyzstan Eyes Solar Projects With Global Investor

Kyrgyzstan is stepping up efforts to attract foreign investment into its renewable energy sector.

Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investments Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, has met with representatives of Vantagion Terra Group Limited, an international investment and development company, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The talks focused on cooperation in solar energy, with particular attention to launching projects in mountainous and hard-to-reach regions of Kyrgyzstan, where access to stable electricity remains limited.

“Development of renewable energy sources is one of the priorities of our state investment policy,” Sabirov said. “We are interested in attracting reliable international partners to implement sustainable and technologically advanced projects, especially in regions with limited access to electricity.”

Vantagion Terra Group Limited positions itself as a full-cycle investment platform in renewable energy infrastructure, overseeing projects from financing and construction to the operation of solar and wind power plants.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in deepening cooperation and exploring concrete projects in Kyrgyzstan’s green energy sector-signaling growing momentum behind the country’s transition toward sustainable power generation.
