Kyrgyzstan is set to host the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan in 2028, marking a new step in cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The announcement was made by Kyrgyz Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev, who said that reciprocal cultural events are planned in both directions - Kyrgyzstan will hold its cultural days in Azerbaijan in 2027, followed by Azerbaijan’s program in Kyrgyzstan in 2028.

Officials noted that bilateral cultural cooperation is based on previously signed agreements and continues to develop in a structured way.

A cultural roadmap for 2025-2027 was also approved in 2025, outlining joint initiatives and long-term collaboration in the cultural sphere between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
