Kyrgyzstan’s Early Parliamentary Election Campaign Officially Kicks Off

The pre-election campaign period for Kyrgyzstan’s early parliamentary elections officially began on November 10, according to the Central Election Commission (CEC).

Under the Constitutional Law on Elections, campaigning starts once all candidates are registered and ends 24 hours before voting begins, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

Since these are early elections, the overall process has been shortened by one third. The campaigning period will run for 20 days - from November 10 until 8:00 a.m. (GMT+6) on November 29, 2025, the CEC confirmed.

A total of 467 candidates will compete for seats in the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) - including 276 men and 191 women.
