The Central Commission on Elections and Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic (CEC) has accredited 127 foreign observers for the upcoming early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh (Supreme Council).
The CEC confirmed on November 2 that an additional 54 observers had been added, bringing the total to 127, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Accredited representatives include officials from the election commissions of Azerbaijan, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, the Maldives, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, and Türkiye, as well as delegates from the EU, OSCE, CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, and several foreign embassies.
The presence of international observers reflects the country’s ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and fairness in the electoral process ahead of the early parliamentary vote.
