Kyrgyzstan’s Trade Sector Leads in Tax Revenues for 2024

The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan has announced that the trade industry was the largest contributor to the country’s budget in 2024, with over KGS 70 billion in tax revenues.

This represents an increase of KGS 13.9 billion, or 124.6%, compared to 2023, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

The leader in the volume of tax revenues was the trade industry, from which the budget received more than KGS 70 billion. Compared to 2023, the tax revenues of this industry increased by KGS 13.9 billion, or 124.6%.

Agriculture closes the list with the amount of tax revenues of KGS 1.04 billion, which is KGS 221.4 million compared to 2023 (the growth amounted to 127%).
