Kyrgyzstan, South Korea Team Up to Power Future with EV Charging Stations

Kyrgyzstan and South Korea are set to launch a joint venture to manufacture electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

A three-party memorandum of cooperation was signed among the Kyrgyz Public-Private Partnership Center, Chakan Hydroelectric Power Plant, and South Korean Blue Networks Co., Ltd., The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

The agreement paves the way for establishing a production facility for EV chargers in Kyrgyzstan, alongside the rollout of charging infrastructure across major cities and regions.

The project will be executed through a public-private partnership, encompassing the design, construction, and operation of the factory, as well as the deployment of a nationwide charging network.

This initiative aims to promote clean transportation infrastructure, support high-tech manufacturing locally, and generate new jobs.

Blue Networks Co., Ltd., known for its expertise in developing and producing EV charging solutions, will be the South Korean partner in this collaboration.
