Kyrgyzstan Troops Take Part in CSTO’s Indestructible Brotherhood 2025 and Specialized Barrier 2025 Drills

Units from Kyrgyzstan are actively involved in the joint CSTO peacekeeping exercises Indestructible Brotherhood 2025 and the specialized Barrier 2025 drill, which focuses on radiation, chemical, and biological protection alongside medical support.

As part of the exercise plan, contingents from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia are redeploying to Tajikistan, with personnel and equipment transported via air and road, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The Indestructible Brotherhood 2025 drills, held at the Fakhrabad training ground, focus on preparing and executing peacekeeping operations.

For the first time, the Barrier 2025 exercise is integrated into these peacekeeping drills. This specialized joint operation involves CSTO collective forces responsible for radiation, chemical, and biological defense and medical support, aiming to train participants in neutralizing biological threat sources to support CSTO’s Collective Peacekeeping Forces.

These exercises are conducted in tandem with the final phase of the CIS joint counterterrorism drill, Commonwealth Antiterror 2025, highlighting a combined approach to regional security challenges.
