Kyrgyzstan has introduced new regulations governing the stay of foreign nationals, aiming to streamline migration processes and make residency rules more transparent and flexible.
The amendments have been made to the framework that regulates the stay of foreigners in the country. The updates are designed to improve legalization mechanisms and simplify entry and residence procedures, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
One of the key changes introduces a special provision for ethnic Kyrgyz citizens, allowing them to regularize their legal status under simplified conditions.
Additionally, individuals who previously overstayed their permitted duration without proper documentation will be allowed a one-time entry into Kyrgyzstan to legalize their status within 30 working days.
