Over 64% of Kyrgyz Citizens View 2025 Positively - Survey

More than 64% of Kyrgyzstanis rated the 2025 results positively, according to the Kusein Isaev Center for Social Research (CSR) at BSU, The Caspian Post reports, citing AkiPress.

According to a survey among Kyrgyzstanis conducted from December 25-29, just under half of respondents-47.7%-believe that 2025 was “generally good” compared to last year, while 17.0% believed it was “very successful.”

According to 25% of respondents, the outgoing year was “both good and bad,” 7% of respondents expressed a negative assessment, choosing the answer options “rather difficult” and “very difficult.”

The purpose of this survey was to measure the social sentiment and expectations of Kyrgyzstanis following the end of 2025 and in anticipation of 2026. The survey was conducted online using the Central Information Center's online panel. A total of 1,039 respondents residing in seven regions of the country and the city of Bishkek participated.
