Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev has said that over the past five years, Türkiye invested more than $1.4 billion in Kyrgyzstan.
Kasymaliev made these remarks at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum in Bishkek, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The forum was also attended by Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz. Kasymaliev highlighted that bilateral trade between the two countries reached over $2.3 billion in 2024.
He underlined Türkiye’s role as a key strategic partner for Kyrgyzstan across multiple sectors, including light and food industries, agriculture, energy, transport, tourism, mining, construction, information technology, and the digital economy.
