Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) foreign ministers' meeting.
On July 24, Lavrov is expected to take part in the meeting in Cholpon-Ata, where foreign ministers from SCO member states will discuss key international and regional issues, The Caspian Post reports via 24.kg.
The agenda includes the security situation across the SCO region, measures to strengthen regional stability, and ways to promote sustainable development throughout Eurasia.
In addition to the multilateral meeting, Lavrov is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral talks with his counterparts during the visit.
