Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan have suffered financial losses after drone attacks targeted Wildberries logistics warehouses in Russia's Moscow and Tambov regions on the night of July 18.
Products from Kyrgyz garment manufacturers were stored at Wildberries facilities in Elektrostal and Kotovsk when the attacks occurred. The company has informed officials that it is assessing the damage by inspecting warehouse infrastructure and conducting a full inventory of the affected goods, The Caspian Post reports via the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
Once the damage assessment is complete, the ministry plans to hold another meeting with Wildberries representatives to develop joint measures aimed at minimizing the impact on affected businesses.
At the same time, the ministry has launched a data collection campaign among garment industry entrepreneurs to estimate the preliminary scale of the losses, as authorities work to determine the full economic impact of the incident.
